Helpers needed.... 19th July 6/05/2009

Due to some serious clashes of dates we are very short of fence judges for the riding phase of the Area Tetrathlon, which is to be held on Sunday 19th July at Llanymynech near Oswestry. It will only take a few hours in the morning followed by a delicious finger lunch. If anyone would like to come to watch and help, please give me a call.

Thanks ... Linda Ashworth on 01829 260666

  • MAIN CAMP ... Monday 27th July - Friday 31st July 2009

Camp for many children is the highlight of the Pony Club year. A mixture of horse-related activities and other fun activities. The members sleep in a large marquee while horses are stabled, penned or turned out in a field. Members bring forage for their animals but food and drink for the members & instructors are supplied.

There is a lot of intensive work associated with camp and help from older children and parents are always very welcome.

ALL PARENTS are urged to help out as much as possible where they can. DON’T LEAVE IT TO THE FEW- MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK !

FINAL DAY PRESENTATIONS will not take place until all ride sites and camp field has been cleared, the Hall and toilets cleaned, and all trailers loaded.  Presentations are expected to  take place at approximqately 3pm. Dismantling starts at 12.30 pm onwards.

Everyone needs to read "Main Camp 2009 Schedule" and parents really need to read "Parents Duty Rota" ..... before completing the application forms ....
